It appears you got the bailer fixed/working or got a loaner or something?  Maybe I missed an update, but I recall you bought a “practically new” one that turned out to be a piece of shit.

It works now (new control box) . The dealership and I are still i n discussion about what else needs to be addressed before I feel like I got what I paid for, but I can make hay with it...

Well, that’s something. I’m glad you didn’t get completely screwed, and hopefully they will make it all right.

I think I mentioned before, but my cousin runs a farm - about 200 acres (plus some leased land) of corn, and turkeys. He’s got 3 turkey barns, usually 2 are full while one is being prepped for the next load. Each load is between 10 and 20 thousand birds. He’s a big John Deere guy - w hen he was a teenager (back in the mid-late 90s ) he worked at a John Deere dealer as a service tech so he knows how to fix all that older stuff. But he won’t touch anything made in the last 10 or so years.
